• Experience in developing targeted yield equations, prediction equation using soil test crop response (STCR)
correlation approach
• Having experience in X- ray diffraction and Infra Red spectroscopic analysis of clay minerals
• Chemical Analysis of short range order clay minerals and their interpretation
B. Extension
• Participated in inauguration of KVK at Longleng district of Nagaland on 10th December, 2011.
• Organized and acted as a resource person for awareness programme on “Soil Conservation and Rain Water
Harvesting” at Medziphema Lotha Baptist Church on 30th March, 2012 delivered lecture on “Soil conservation
and rain water harvesting: A brief outline”.
• Participated in a seed distribution ceremony at Jalukie village, Peren district, Nagaland on 28th April, 2012
• Organized one day “Soil health camp” at Bade village of Dimapur district on 25th September, 2012
• Organized 3 days training programme on ‘honey box making for additional income generation’ at C.K. Udyog
office, Bahana, Jorhat during November 21-23 for 3 participants
• Organized 10 days training programme on “Weaving cum Sewing for Women Empowerment at Mon District of
Nagaland” at Department of Clothing and Textile, College of Home Science, Assam Agricultural University,
Jorhat during November 21-30 for 5 participants
• Organized 1 day hands-on training on ‘Mushroom Cultivation’ at Lampong Sheanghah village for 29 participants
• Attend the programme on “Vetting of District contingency plan for KVKs of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and
Nagaland” on 21st January, 2013 at KVK Dimapur, Jharnapani
• Delivered a lecture with presentation on “Model farming system for resilient shifting cultivation in Nagaland” as a
resource person on training programme on “Resilient jhum cultivation through integrated farming system” at
Mission Centre, Vankhosung, Wokha on February 5, 2013
• Organized 3 days training programme on “Resilient jhum cultivation through integrated farming system” at
Mission Centre, Vankhosung, Wokha from February 5 to 7, 2013
• Besides, extension works were also carried out by helping the farmers through TSP-Jhum Improvement and
NAIP project.
